MTB, Continental Hospital jointly offer health checkups to privilege customers
The two organizations
signed a memorandum of understanding under which Continental Hospital will
serve as a healthcare partner for eligible MTB customers. The benefit will be
provided through vouchers issued by the bank.
Tahsin Shahid, head of
MTB Retail Business, and Khandaker Faizulla Hes Samy, head of Bancassurance and
Developer and Vendor Relationship, represented MTB at the signing ceremony.
Continental Hospital was
represented by Dr. Md. Fazlarabbi Khan, general manager of Communication and
Business Development, and Syed Ashraf ul Masum, senior manager of Business
Development.
Other officials from both
organizations attended the signing event.
Under the arrangement,
qualifying Privilege Banking customers will be able to use the vouchers for
complimentary health screenings at Continental Hospital. The initiative is
intended to add preventive healthcare services to the benefits available
through MTB’s premium banking program.
The partnership expands
the range of non-financial services offered to the bank’s privilege customers
while creating a formal link between MTB and the healthcare provider.
Both organizations said
they intend to continue developing the partnership and explore ways to provide
additional healthcare-related value and services to eligible MTB customers.
The agreement represents a growing trend among banks in Bangladesh of incorporating lifestyle and healthcare benefits into premium customer programs.
