Qatar Airways unveils Hans Zimmer-composed onboard music

Dhaka: Qatar Airways has introduced a new onboard signature music created in partnership with Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, aimed at offering passengers a distinctive sound identity during their journeys.
A release from the airline said the music was unveiled on November 6 at Zimmer's concert in Doha. Passengers can listen to the composition onboard from that day.
Inspired by Qatar and its culture, the music is also part of "Burgundy Symphony," a bespoke five-track album that captures the airline's wider sound identity.
Audiences at the Doha concert were given an exclusive first look at the creative process behind the collaboration through a specially produced film, along with a preview of the music.
Each track on the album reflects a different stage of travel:
Dawn: Opens the album with a sense of anticipation as travelers step beyond their daily routine.
Dusk: Reflects the tranquility of flying above the clouds as daylight fades.
The Orchard: Offers a restorative pause, inspired by the ORCHARD, one of Hamad International Airport's most distinctive passenger experiences.
Homecoming: Captures the quiet gift of returning home and the lasting ways travel enriches life.
An Ode to Qatar: Closes the album as a tribute to the country's heritage and forward-looking vision.
The airline said the collaboration combines Zimmer's cinematic storytelling with its commitment to delivering memorable experiences, creating a recognizable sound that reflects the emotions and moments that define travel.
Following the unveiling, "Burgundy Symphony" has been made available on the Qatar Airways YouTube channel for audiences worldwide. Listen it here:
