Grand Sylhet Hotel appoints Shakul Pant as new General Manager

Dhaka: Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort has appointed Shakul Pant as its new General Manager, bringing more than two decades of hospitality industry experience to the property.

Pant has held senior positions across the hospitality sector in Bangladesh, India and Saudi Arabia, with experience spanning hotel operations, sales and marketing, revenue management, commercial strategy and business leadership.

His career includes leadership roles with several international and regional hospitality brands, including Amari Dhaka, Hyatt, Oakwood Residence, Lemon Tree Hotels and Aber Hotels.

In his new role at Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort, Pant will oversee the hotel’s operations and business activities as the property seeks to strengthen its position in Bangladesh’s hospitality market.

Global Asset Ltd, which operates Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort, welcomed Pant to the leadership position and said the management and team are looking forward to achieving new milestones under his leadership.

The appointment adds an experienced hospitality executive to the management of one of Sylhet’s prominent resort properties, which caters to leisure, business and events segments.
