Aviation.com.bd opens applications for free aviation training

Dhaka : Aviation.com.bd has opened applications for the third edition of its "Wings for All" initiative, offering free online training in aviation ground operations to young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.

The latest program, Wings for All 3.0, is scheduled to begin October 15, with applications remaining open until September 30. The initiative is designed to allow participants from across Bangladesh, including those outside major cities, to access professional aviation training without relocating to Dhaka.

Applicants must have at least an HSC or equivalent qualification, along with basic English, computer and internet skills. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate both financial need and a strong interest in pursuing aviation careers.

Applicants are required to submit an updated CV, their latest educational certificate and a statement of purpose of up to 200 words explaining why they should be selected.

The training will introduce participants to airline and airport ground operations, aviation industry fundamentals and career opportunities. Those who successfully complete the course will receive certificates.

Md Harunur Rashid, founder and CEO of aviation.com.bd, said financial constraints should not prevent capable young people from entering the aviation sector.

The organization launched Wings for All in 2025 and continued it through a second edition following strong interest. Its academy also provides training in areas including passenger services, aviation safety and security, and ground operations.
