ICAO congratulates Millat, assures full cooperation

Dhaka: The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has congratulated M. Rashiduzzaman Millat on his appointment as Bangladesh's Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, assuring him of its full cooperation in developing international civil aviation and promoting aviation safety and security.

In a letter dated September 16, 2026, ICAO President of the Council Toshiyuki Onuma and Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar extended their sincere congratulations to Millat on his appointment.

The ICAO leadership assured the minister of the organization's full cooperation in the further development of international civil aviation and efforts to promote aviation safety and security.

The letter also conveyed best wishes for Millat's success in his new responsibilities.

"Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of our highest consideration," the letter stated.
