Emirates creates Arsenal crest from upcycled aircraft parts

Dubai: Emirates
has once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting upcycled materials by
creating a striking Arsenal crest entirely from reclaimed aircraft components,
celebrating the airline's long-standing partnership with the football club.
The 2.4-metre
illuminated sculpture was designed and built entirely in-house by Emirates
Engineering. A team of 15 specialists completed the intricate project in just
34 days, transforming retired aircraft materials into a unique work of art.
Once completed, the crest embarked on its final journey to London's Emirates Stadium. Carefully packaged in a custom-built protective crate, the one-of-a-kind installation was transported aboard an Emirates SkyCargo freighter before being installed at the entrance to the Directors' Box and Diamond Club, where it now takes pride of place.

The
Emirates-Arsenal partnership began in 2006 and was recently extended through
2033. As the collaboration enters its next chapter, Emirates will continue as
Arsenal's front-of-shirt sponsor, training kit partner and stadium naming
rights partner.
