French ambassador visits Curzon Hall as DU-France research program concludes


Dhaka: French Ambassador
to Bangladesh Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet visited Curzon Hall of the University of
Dhaka on September 3 as he attended the closing session of a year-long joint
research program between the University of Dhaka and France’s La Rochelle
University.
La Rochelle University is
renowned for its research and academic expertise in oceanography.
During his visit, the
French ambassador expressed his admiration for Curzon Hall, praising the
historic building for its architectural beauty and its rich combination of
history, charm and scientific heritage.
The year-long research
program brought together academics and researchers from the University of Dhaka
and La Rochelle University, focusing on collaboration in oceanography and related
areas of scientific research.
The ambassador’s visit marked the conclusion of the program and underscored the growing academic and scientific cooperation between Bangladesh and France.
