German ambassador visits Square Fashions to explore textile sector cooperation

Dhaka: German Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Rüdiger Lotz and Deputy Head of Mission Daniel Blum visited Square Fashions Limited to observe the country's textile and garment manufacturing operations.

During the visit, the German delegation learned about the use of German machinery and technology in Bangladesh's apparel industry and the country's business partnerships with major German brands, including BOSS, PUMA, and OLYMP.

The visit highlighted the strong business ties between Bangladesh's textile and garment sector and Germany, particularly through technology, manufacturing, and integration into global value chains, read a social media post of the embassy.
