Le Reve unveils new collection inspired by monsoon

Dhaka : Fashion brand Le Reve has introduced a new women's collection for the monsoon season, combining weather-friendly fabrics with contemporary silhouettes and soft, nature-inspired designs.

Titled "Sublime," the collection takes inspiration from the changing mood of the rainy season, with colors and patterns reflecting cloudy skies, misty landscapes, greenery and the warm tones of sunrise and sunset.

The collection features shades of blue, gray, peach, yellow, green and pastel tones. Among its design themes are Cloudy Façade, featuring dreamy blue hues; Lucid Dyes, characterized by gradual ombré effects; and Fogged Flora, which presents floral patterns in a softer, blurred form. Other motifs draw inspiration from sunlit landscapes and pastel pathways.

Le Reve has also focused on practicality for Bangladesh's humid monsoon weather. The collection uses lightweight and breathable materials such as georgette, light crepe, mercerized cotton, viscose and linen, along with selected blended fabrics. Quick-drying materials are also incorporated into the range to provide greater comfort during the rainy season.

The lineup includes tunics, tops, kameez, salwar kameez, gowns, dresses and sarees. Mid-length tunics feature contemporary elements including smocking, ruffles, lantern and dolman sleeves, tie belts and relaxed silhouettes.

Some designs incorporate handcrafted details and subtle embellishments, allowing them to transition between workplaces, casual outings and evening occasions.

Through the collection, Le Reve aims to offer women a versatile seasonal wardrobe that balances style, comfort and functionality while capturing the distinctive visual character of the monsoon.
