Oman Air launches direct Dubai-Salalah flights to boost regional connectivity

Dhaka: Oman Air has launched its inaugural direct service between Dubai and Salalah, expanding its regional network and strengthening air connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Oman's Dhofar Governorate.
The new route will operate three times a week throughout the year, making it easier for travelers to visit Salalah, a popular tourism destination renowned for its scenic landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and the annual Khareef (monsoon) season.
The airline said the launch marks another milestone in its network expansion and responds to growing passenger demand for direct travel between Dubai and Salalah.
According to Oman Air, the new service is expected to enhance regional connectivity, support tourism, and facilitate closer links between communities across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
With the addition of the Dubai–Salalah route, the airline aims to offer travellers greater convenience while promoting one of Oman's most sought-after destinations to visitors from the UAE and beyond.
