Pan Pacific Sonargaon to host Thai Gourmet Gala, Top Thai Brands exhibition
Organized in
collaboration with the Commercial Wing of the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka, the
three-day festival will take place at Café Bazar Restaurant, while the trade
exhibition will be held at the hotel's Grand Ballroom.
The food festival will
feature renowned Thai chef Kroongtana Nimnu from Chiang Mai, who will prepare a
selection of traditional Thai dishes for buffet lunch, brunch, and dinner.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy live Thai folk dance performances, raffle
draws, children's activities, and special dining promotions, including bank
offers of up to "Dine Four, Pay One."
Running alongside the
culinary event, Top Thai Brands 2026 will bring together 57 Thai companies and
their Bangladeshi partners to showcase products spanning food and beverages,
healthcare, cosmetics, fashion, building materials, baby care, and other
sectors.
The exhibition will also
include business matchmaking sessions aimed at fostering partnerships between
Thai exporters and Bangladeshi importers and distributors.
Additional attractions
will include Muay Thai demonstrations, fashion shows, cultural performances,
and interactive activities for visitors.
The exhibition will
remain open daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The inaugural ceremony is scheduled
for July 23 at 1:00 pm, with Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir
expected to attend as chief guest.
