Turkish Airlines, GolfHouse partner to strengthen cooperation

Dhaka: Turkish Airlines and Dhaka-based golf media and business platform GolfHouse have partnered to deepen cooperation through promotional services and client engagement initiatives.
To this effect, the organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at GolfHouse headquarters in the capital on October 12, according to a joint press release.
Under the agreement, GolfHouse will promote Turkish Airlines through various initiatives. It will also engage its clients and business network to raise awareness of the airline's services.
The partnership provides a framework to connect the Istanbul-based carrier with GolfHouse's audience across golf, business, and lifestyle.
Turkish Airlines General Manager in Dhaka İslam Güre and Marketing Officer (International) Ejaz Kadry attended the ceremony alongside TheGolfHouse and GolfHouse Holdings Ltd. Founder and CEO A M M Nazrul Hosen and Director of Operations K M Bodiuzzaman. Other officials from both parties were also present.
Established in 1933, Turkish Airlines serves 353 destinations across 133 countries through its Istanbul hub. It operates a fleet of 567 aircraft, including the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner, among other latest-generation types.
As part of its commitment to supporting golf and other sports, the Star Alliance member runs several initiatives, including an annual amateur golf tournament, the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup. It also offers free carriage of one set of golf equipment per passenger on all international flights.
The airline currently operates seven weekly flights between Dhaka and Istanbul — as the only European carrier serving Bangladesh — with onward connections worldwide.
Its cargo division, Turkish Cargo, also runs two weekly wide-body freighter flights to support trade between the country and global markets.
Media and business platform GolfHouse brings together golfers, corporate leaders, diplomats, and industry partners through publishing, tournaments, and events. Its flagship publication, TheGolfHouse, was established in 2015 and covers golf in Bangladesh and beyond.
