Pre-registration for Hajj 2027 begins for expatriate Bangladeshis

Dhaka: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that pre-registration for Hajj 2027 is now open for expatriate Bangladeshi citizens wishing to perform Hajj under the country's Hajj quota.
According to an official notification signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Shafiuzzaman Bhuiyan, expatriates can perform Hajj through either government or private arrangements and must complete pre-registration through the e-Hajj system at www.hajj.gov.bd.
Applicants need a Bangladeshi passport, national identity card, or birth certificate, a passport-size photograph, a WhatsApp-enabled mobile number, and Bangladeshi bank account details. One bank account would be sufficient for multiple applicants from a family.
During registration, applicants must also submit NRB (Non-Resident Bangladeshi) information along with a valid residency document stating their country of residence.
The notification said Hajj packages and guidelines for 2027 will be announced soon, after which applicants must select a package and complete registration in the e-Hajj system.
