HB Aviation and Tourism Institute to train retired Navy officers


Dhaka
: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on May 16 between Nou Kallyan
Foundation (NKF) and HB Aviation and Tourism Institute at the HB Aviation Dhaka
Campus in Mirpur, aiming to create skill development, employment, and business
opportunities for retired officers of the Bangladesh Navy in the travel and
tourism sector.
To
mark the occasion, a seminar titled "Strategic Partnership and Career
Opportunity Session 2026" was organized by HB Aviation and Tourism
Institute. The event was attended by Rear Admiral (Retd) Anwar Hossain,
Managing Director of NKF; Commander BN (Retd) Mostafa Kamal Rashid; Zaki S
Bari, Founder and Chairman of HB Aviation and Tourism Institute; Tutul Ahmed,
representative of Bdjobs; and Fahim Chowdhury, CEO of M360; and over 70 retired
Navy officers.
Under
this partnership, retired Navy personnel will receive training in Air
Ticketing, Travel Agency Operations, GDS (Global Distribution System), Customer
Service, and Front Desk Management. Participants will also receive support for
employment, business opportunities, and travel agency establishment. HB
Aviation will additionally provide consultation and operational support for establishing
NKF's own travel agency.
