Westin Dhaka launches kebab festival featuring global flavors

Dhaka: The Westin Dhaka has launched a 10-day kebab festival featuring grilled specialties inspired by culinary traditions from South Asia, the Middle East and beyond.

The International Kebab Festival began on September 23 at the hotel’s Seasonal Tastes restaurant in Gulshan and will continue through October 3. The event is being organized in partnership with Prime Bank PLC.

The festival was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by diplomats, banking representatives, hotel executives and members of the culinary team, followed by a tasting session.

Executive Chef Swapan Rozario and his team have prepared a menu spanning traditional and contemporary kebabs. Local and regional selections include Dhakaiya Sutli Kebab, Beef Bihari Kebab, Lahori Seekh Kebab, Hyderabadi Seekh Kebab and Fish Hariyali Kebab.

The menu also includes charcoal-grilled dishes such as lobster and Naga beef kebabs, tandoori crab and rib set kebabs. International offerings feature Afghan Kabuli Lamb Kebab, Afghan Lamb Chop Kebab, Greek Chicken Souvlaki and Brazilian Espetinho.

The dinner-only buffet is priced at BDT 9,450 net per person. Guests can access B1G1, B1G2 and B1G3 offers through Prime Bank and other participating banks, subject to applicable conditions.
