Turkish Airlines offers free Istanbul hotel stays to Dhaka passengers

Dhaka: Turkish Airlines
is offering complimentary hotel stays in Istanbul to eligible passengers
departing from Dhaka, giving travelers an opportunity to spend time in the
Turkish city while transiting between connecting flights.
Under the stopover
program, economy-class passengers can receive one night at a four-star hotel,
while business-class passengers are eligible for two nights at a five-star
property. Breakfast is included with the accommodation.
The offer applies to
passengers traveling on eligible round-trip itineraries that transit through
Istanbul Airport. The departure and return countries must be the same, and the
stopover must involve a transit period of at least 20 hours.
Eligible passengers can
use the complimentary hotel stay once, either on their outbound or return
journey. Those wishing to stay longer can extend their accommodation at special
rates starting at USD 49 per night, according to the airline.
Passengers are
responsible for visa fees and transportation costs between Istanbul Airport,
the hotel and the city. Travelers holding US, UK, Irish or Schengen visas may
apply for a Turkish e-visa, subject to the applicable fee and eligibility
requirements.
Requests for the stopover
service must be submitted at least 72 hours before the first flight through
Turkish Airlines’ online stopover system or its designated Bangladesh contact.
The initiative adds
Istanbul to the travel experience for passengers using Turkish Airlines to
reach destinations beyond Türkiye.
